Are all amex card fraud proof?

Hi everyone,
I keep seeing people say that American Express has top-tier security, but I’m curious — are all Amex cards fraud proof in reality, or is that just hype? If anyone has dealt with fraud on an Amex card, how did they handle it? I’m trying to figure out how secure they really are before I apply.
