Is FreeAgent a Good Accounting Software for Small Businesses?

I’ve been looking into different bookkeeping tools and noticed a lot of people recommending FreeAgent, especially for freelancers and small businesses in the UK. Before I decide, I’d like some real user feedback. How easy is FreeAgent to use for day-to-day tasks like invoicing, expense tracking, and bank reconciliation?

Because it's user-friendly, provides good invoicing, expense tracking, and tax tools, and functions well for freelancers and small teams, FreeAgent is a good option for small businesses. It's best if you value simplicity and built-in automation, though, as it can feel a little pricey when compared to other options.

FreeAgent is a good tool with freelancers or extremely small businesses as it is easy to invoice, track expenses, and file taxes. Others are fond of it since it is simple and does not require that you do bookkeeping like it is super-complex- however in the case that you wish to do complex inventory, payroll or very large scale accounting, there are better powered options.

Yes- FreeAgent is highly recommended with regard to:
  1. Freelancers
  2. Contractors
  3. Small teams
It offers:
  1. Easy invoicing
  2. Bank feeds
  3. Expense tracking
  4. Tax estimation
  5. Good mobile app
But, QuickBooks/Xero has more sophisticated features on larger companies.
