Is homeaglow legit?

I keep seeing these ads for $19 cleaning vouchers. Is Homeaglow legit, or is there a catch? I’ve read some mixed reviews about hidden membership fees and "independent contractors" not showing up. Would love to hear from someone who has actually used them for a deep clean.

Homeaglow is a legitimate, large online marketplace operating as an intermediary between users and independent house cleaners, not a direct service provider. The company remains operational, but its reputation is mixed as there have been complaints about automatic subscription renewals without prior notice, which cost a lot, and because of the varying quality of the cleaners. It is mainly considered a "gamble" because if you get a good cleaner, it can be great, but if you do not, it can be very frustrating.

The $19 is real for the first clean, but you’re essentially signing up for a "ForeverClean" membership. It’s $49/month after the promo. If you try to cancel before six months, they hit you with a massive "reversal fee" to cover the full price of that first cleaning. It’s "legit" in the sense that they send someone, but it’s definitely a subscription model disguised as a one-off deal.
