Is QuickBooks enough for all types of businesses—myth or reality?

Is QuickBooks enough for all types of businesses, or is that a myth? I want to understand whether QuickBooks can handle the needs of different business sizes and industries, or if larger or more complex businesses require more advanced accounting software.

QuickBooks is honestly solid for most small to mid-sized businesses. It handles invoicing, expenses, payroll, and basic reporting well. But once you start needing advanced inventory tracking or multi-entity accounting, it can feel a bit stretched.

The question of whether or not QuickBooks suits any business is this, QuickBooks is suitable to SMEs and mid-sized businesses, but bigger and more complex are businesses which might require ERP level usage. It works well, although it is not universal.

Myth. QuickBooks works well for many small and mid-sized businesses, but it may not suit large enterprises, complex manufacturing, global operations, or highly customized workflows that require advanced ERP or industry-specific systems.
