What are the 9 money personalities?

I recently came across the term “9 money personalities” and it sounds interesting, but I’m not sure what they actually are. What are the 9 money personalities?

The nine money personalities are: Spender, Saver, Investor, Risk-Taker, Security Seeker, Status Seeker, Giver, Avoider, and Planner—each reflecting different attitudes, habits, emotional drivers, and behaviors toward earning, saving, investing, and spending money.

The 9 money personalities commonly include: The Saver, The Spender, The Investor, The Risk-Taker, The Security Seeker, The Avoider, The Planner, The Giver, and The Status Seeker.

These types describe different attitudes and behaviors toward earning, saving, spending, and investing money.

The 9 money personalities were identified by financial expert Ken Honda. They include: The Spender, The Saver, The Gambler, The Worrier, The Compulsive Saver, The Indifferent, The Moneymaker, The Risk-Taker, and The Money Magnet. These personalities describe different emotional and behavioral patterns people have with money, such as overspending, hoarding, taking risks, or attracting wealth naturally.

It’s basically a way to describe different habits people have with money—types like the Saver, Spender, Investor, Giver, Avoider, Risk-taker, Security Seeker, Status Seeker, and Planner; I like the idea because it helps you notice your own patterns and why you handle money the way you do.
