I’m preparing for quant roles and came across this book. Has anyone used a practical guide to quantitative finance interviews, and does it really help with interview preparation?

The most useful book on quantitative finance interviews concentrates on the basic fields, such as probability, statistics, linear algebra, and programming (usually Python or C++). Brain puzzlement, mental math, and coding. Know the financial terms, derivatives, and risk. Confidence and performance can be enhanced greatly through mock interviews and through reviewing past questions.

A Practical Guide to Quantitative Finance Interviews is an useful book for people who want to work in quant roles. This book talks about the things you need to know, like probability and statistics. It also covers calculus, linear algebra and those tricky brainteasers that people ask in interviews. You will also find questions about programming that are commonly asked. The book focuses on helping you solve problems and understand things clearly than just giving you a lot of theory to learn. The book has questions that're like the ones you would get in a real interview and it shows you how to solve them. This helps you feel more confident and think clearly when you are, under pressure.
