Is it possible to pay a car loan with a credit card? If yes, are there fees or downsides I should know about?

In most cases, no, you can't pay a car loan directly using a credit card because the enforcing companies usually don't accept them. There might be some third-party services or dealerships that will allow you to do so. Still, only with an additional fee; however, generally, it is highly discouraged because of the high interest rate and extra charges.

Yes, you can make a car payment with a credit card, but only if your lender allows it. Many auto lenders don’t accept credit cards directly, though some third-party payment services may let you pay for a fee.

Yes, but it’s rarely direct. Majority of the lenders will not accept credit cards because of processing fee. You are normally forced to go to third party services (charging money) or checks by using balance transfers. Caution should be taken over interest rates which may surpass any reward.
