How much are wheat pennies worth?

I found some wheat pennies and was curious about their value. Are they worth just a few cents, or do certain years/mint marks make them more valuable?

Most wheat pennies are worth 3 to 5 cents. Those in excellent condition or key dates (like 1909-S VDB or 1914-D) can be worth hundreds or even thousands of dollars to collectors. Value depends on date, mintmark, and condition.

Wheat pennies (1909–1958) are usually worth 3–10 cents in average circulated condition. However, rare dates like the 1909-S VDB or 1914-D can be worth hundreds to thousands of dollars. Value depends on year, mint mark, rarity, and condition, with uncirculated coins fetching much higher prices.
