I’m trying to find my UTR (Unique Taxpayer Reference) number and could use some help. I’ve registered for Self Assessment in the past, but I’m not sure where to locate the number now. Does anyone know how to Find My UTR Number?? Any advice would be appreciated!

  1. Open Your Banking App. Launch your mobile banking app and log in with your credentials.
  2. Go to Transaction History. Navigate to the 'Transaction History' or 'Account Statement' section within the app.
  3. Select the Relevant Transaction. Find and select the transaction you need.
  4. Find the UTR Number.

A UTR (Unique Transaction Reference) number is a 22-character code for bank transfers in India. To find it, check your bank statement, passbook, or mobile banking app under transaction details. You can also contact your bank’s customer care. For NEFT/RTGS transfers, the UTR is usually provided in the SMS or email transaction alert.
