Quick question — is Xero accounting free to use? I saw that they offer a free trial, but I’m not sure if there’s a free ongoing plan or if it’s fully subscription-based after the trial. Anyone using it who can confirm how the pricing works?

No, Xero accounting is not free, but it does offer a 30-day free trial and has multiple subscription plans with different features and prices. The paid plans vary from the "Starter" plan, which has limits on invoices and bills, to the "Premium" plan, which includes advanced features like multi-currency support.

Xero is a subscription service and does not provide a perpetually free version. To test all the features before committing to a paid plan, it offers a 30-day free trial. Its tiers are determined by the size of your company and the features you require.

No — Xero is not free forever. It does offer a 30-day free trial so you can test all features, but after that you need to subscribe to a paid plan (starting around US $20/month)
