What does active mean on zillow?

While browsing homes on Zillow, I noticed listings marked Active. I’m wondering what does active mean on zillow. Does it mean the home is still available for offers from buyers?

"Active" on Zillow means a property is currently listed for sale, available for showings, and accepting offers. It indicates the home is on the market, typically having just been listed or recently relisted, and has not yet entered a contract with a buyer.

On Zillow, “Active” means the property is currently for sale and available sellers are accepting offers, and the listing hasn’t gone under contract yet. From what I’ve seen, these are the listings you can still realistically pursue, unlike “pending” or “contingent,” where someone else already has an offer in play.

On Zillow, “Active” means a property is currently listed for sale and available. Buyers can view it, schedule tours, and make offers, as it hasn’t been sold or taken off the market.

On Zillow, active refers to the house being up for sale, and it is accessible to potential buyers. The listing hasn’t been sold, canceled, or taken off the market. When it is still listed as active, you can schedule a viewing, make an offer, or contact the agent.

"Hey, I was wondering about this too when I started using Zillow. It looks like 'Active' means the property is actually for sale and available to buy. It's not under contract, pending, or sold. The seller is serious about selling, and you can make an offer. Hope that helps!"

On Zillow, “Active” means a property is currently listed for sale and available for buyers. The seller hasn’t accepted any offer yet, so interested buyers can still view the home, schedule a showing, or submit an offer. It simply indicates the listing is open and on the market.

On Zillow, “Active” means the property is currently for sale and available the seller is still accepting offers and no deal has been finalized yet.

When a listing shows as "Active" on Zillow, it basically means that the property is still on the market and open to buyers. The owner is open to getting offers, and the house is not yet under contract or sold. Still, an active listing doesn't really confirm that the property is 100% available, as some might already have a high level of interest or a pending offer that is not yet updated. Even if the status is active, you may schedule a showing, reach out to the agent, or put in an offer.
