While studying business concepts, I came across the term stakeholder. I know it refers to people connected to a company, but who exactly counts as a stakeholder? Are employees, investors, and customers all considered stakeholders in a business?

Stakeholders refer to any person, group or organization that is interested or impacted by the actions and actions of a business or a project. Examples of stakeholders include the owners, employees, customers, suppliers, investors and even community. They can affect or be affected, hence organizations tend to take into account the needs of the stakeholders in the process of strategic and operational decision making.

A stakeholder is a person, group, or organization that has an interest in or is affected by a project, business, or decision. This can include employees, customers, investors, suppliers, and the community.
