What is financial freedom?

I keep seeing the term, but what is financial freedom exactly? Is it just retiring early (FIRE), or simply living debt-free with a safety net? I’d love to hear your personal milestones or strategies for reaching that "number." What does true independence look like for you?

Financial freedom means having enough money, savings, or investments to cover your living expenses without depending on a regular job.

Financial freedom is being able to meet costs and achieve objectives without having to worry about receiving a paycheck. This involves saving money, investing in various ventures, and earning passive income to ensure security and the power to make choices in one’s life.

For me, financial freedom isn’t just early retirement, it’s having enough passive income and savings that I don’t stress about bills or emergencies. Honestly, it feels like the moment your choices are driven by what you want to do, not what you have to do.
