Who Invented Artificial Intelligence?

I’d like to know who invented artificial intelligence—was it created by one person, or did multiple researchers contribute to the development of AI?

There is no one individual who has invented Artificial Intelligence (AI). John McCarthy coined the term and it was formalized in 1956 with the contribution of Marvin Minsky and others.

Artificial Intelligence was coined and introduced by John McCarthy in 1956, which is why he is widely known as the father of Artificial Intelligence.

Artificial Intelligence was formally founded in 1956 by John McCarthy, who coined the term “Artificial Intelligence.” He is widely regarded as the father of AI, alongside pioneers like Alan Turing, Marvin Minsky, and Herbert A. Simon.

The general credit of the development of Artificial Intelligence is given to John McCarthy who came up with the name of Artificial Intelligence in 1956. He was one of the founders of AI as a research field with pioneers such as Marvin Minsky, Allen Newell, and Herbert A. Simon, the organizer of the Dartmouth Conference.
