Who is an entrepreneur?

I’m curious, who is an entrepreneur in today's world? Is it anyone with a side hustle, or must you take significant financial risks to earn the title? I’d love to hear how you define it and what mindset separates a business owner from a true innovator!

An entrepreneur is a person who starts and runs a business, taking risks to make a profit.

Entrepreneurship involves an individual finding gaps and starting a business through which he offers goods or services while taking financial risks. It involves innovation and problem solving to create value and earn profits through the use of resources.

I’d say an entrepreneur isn’t just someone with a side hustle, it’s anyone who thinks in terms of creating value and taking initiative, even if the scale is small at first. What really separates them is the mindset, they see problems as opportunities and are willing to take some risk, but not necessarily massive financial ones from day one.
