I recently encountered something suspicious and I’m not sure what to do next. How can you report a scam properly, and are there trusted platforms or authorities to handle this?
I recently encountered a scammer posing as a tax consultant and I was scammed out of a significant amount of money I was looking to invest in a legitimate business venture I was planning to start. The scammers contacted me via email and created a sense of urgency to get me to transfer the funds quickly, I wish I had done more research before investing. Thankfully I was able to recover some of the funds with the help of my bank.
