I’m trying to learn about different legal and cultural systems. What is prohibited under Sharia law, and how does it vary across different countries or interpretations?

Under Sharia law, prohibited actions (haram) include consuming alcohol and drugs, gambling, theft, fraud, bribery, adultery, dishonesty, and harming others unjustly. It also restricts eating pork and earning interest (riba). These rules are based on Islamic teachings from the Quran and Hadith, guiding ethical, social, and personal behavior for Muslims.
